Our Journey starts here!
Hello Friends! My name is Steph, and I’m a happily married, busy working mom of three kiddos. I’m here to document and share meals that I make on the daily for my youngest daughter who was recently diagnosed with Fructose Malabsorption, and Lactose intolerance. (more on that story later) Basically, my daughter’s body lacks an enzyme that allows her to properly break down and digest the natural sugar found in most fruits and vegetables. To make matters worse, add lactose intolerance and you’ve got a recipe for disaster. Or in our case, a very tricky diet change to incorporate into our lifestyle. Nevertheless, I decided to make the most of this new journey ahead of us by creating this website, to not only help me keep track of meals my daughter can safely eat, but to also help other moms who may be looking for a little more support with Fructose Malabsorption.
That being said, welcome to my site! I hope this blog brings you some relief in knowing you’re not a lone in this and that there are lot’s of ways we can make life enjoyable for our little ones— intolerances and all!
